The Toughest Girl In The World

Two things happened today.
All related to ...... death.

Firstly,
Band went out to sg chua cuz someone pretty famous
has gone....
Our condolences in the form of a song
Our wishes in the form of  a team
Our blessings in the form of a family.
Yes, please rest in peace.

Then.....
when i was sorting out the snare drum
yik fei them came up to tell me that
she has gone.
Stunned lik never before,
that snare drum in my hands almost rolled down the stairs.
I stared.
and stared.
the seconds ticked by but still
that was the truth....
I don't know how the class took this in,
but i heard a whole lot of my friends cried.

Most of us stayed for the afternoon.
then we went to the ceremony location to give our best condolences.
Many people went there..... and the clouds seemed to hesitate,
the drifting slowed its pace... the wind brewing
with a sense of wary and uncertainty.
many hearts broke... but many more stayed strong.
Because we promised to live well for her sake.

We will keep this shining star in our hearts.
We will live on her dream and accomplish her unfinished task.
We will strife the diamond with all our hearts,
knowing that she will always live well on the other side
and in our hearts.
God will always Bless you,
Lok Shen
the toughest girl in the world.
